OLAM the commodities company have inhouse training to bring their staff up to the standards required for their scope of work. Hence as a guide to testing the staff, a simple Learning Management System was required, that could do testing similar to Sharepoint Survey function. However, a scoring was required for this survey, which was named the Olam Competency Assessment Tool. Also, no-code deployment was required, due to the tight turnaround time. Hence JQuery and Sharepoint Javascript CSOM was leveraged to perform the same functions. Deployment was simple, using the end-user Editor role to add in the user interface to a standard Sharepoint Survey list.
